My new barstools - how to update your kitchen on a budget

I am longing to give my kitchen a complete style makeover - but in these credit crunch times, I'm resigned to living with it for a couple more years. HOWEVER I have afound a few sneaky ways to get the modern look I'm after just by changing my kitchen accessories. I painted my dated cupboards white and changed the pulls, which made a big difference, but the best thing I did was to buy four of these sleek barstools in bright orange which have really brightened up the space.
